As we prepare to return to a new season of hockey, we’re putting the final plans together.
Many of you will be aware of the close and harmonious relationship we have with Drogheda Grammar School. Since the club’s inception, DGS has been our home and we’re delighted that this relationship is set to continue for the years ahead. We have enjoyed a heavily discounted rental from the school, but the indications are coming that this will have to change. The proposed increase will bring our rental more in line with what other clubs pay for similar usage. We’re conscious that families have many outgoings and we will continue to work with local councils and funding organisations to narrow the gap between income and outgoings, but we do need to pass on some costs.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining our ongoing and valued sponsors, we are opening sponsorship slots for the coming season.
For 2026/27, the new rates will be as follows:

Junior & Senior infants
Junior Academy €160
1st - 5th class
Junior League €170
6th class - 4th year
Senior League Student €190
5th & 6th year
Senior League Student €190
Third level
Senior League Adult €240
Social Hockey €145
Volunteer €0
Discounts:
Family cap €380
The committee is determined to ensure members can continue to play and enjoy the many benefits that hockey provides. We offer payment plans to spread out the costs over the season and are happy to talk to individuals with any particular queries.
