Congratulations also to the 4th year team who have made it through to the second round of the Junior Jacqui Potter Cup. Best of luck in the next round!

It is club policy that players wear gum shields and shin guards while playing.
There are still places in all classes, especially for boys this year. If you just want to give hockey a go, and you have absolutely no experience, just turn up for training at the times (shown under Team by class on the home page) – we just ask you to bring a gum shield and shin guards. We can even provide the hockey sticks if you don’t have one.
Registration and payment will not be until October (date tbc) so this gives you a chance to try out for a few weeks. So why not give it a go?
If you have any questions, no matter how small, contact us at email@example.com. We look forward to welcoming you to the club!
Sunday 10th September saw the first year hockey group start back to training. To mark the occasion, Sonja Collier, Boyne Hockey Club President, organised for NOT ONE, but TWO, Irish International’s (Hannah Matthews and Jessica McGirr) to kick start the hockey training sessions for the year. The training session for first years from 1-2 pm every Sunday included warm ups; drills, practice sessions and activities, and was fully conducted by the Irish International/Loreto Hockey Club duo. Players and coaches alike learned a tremendous amount from this experience and the Club hopes to continue with similar training sessions throughout this year.
Hannah and Jessica kindly presented Boyne Hockey Club with a signed photograph of the Irish Senior Women’s Team at this years World League in South Africa. This will now take pride of place in the newly decorated club house.
This week sees the return for all hockey training for all age groups. There are still some limited places available in each class, especially for boys, so please bring your boys and girls along to try out over the next few weeks. Registration will not be until October so all you need is a gum shield and shin guards (we can provide hockey sticks if you don’t have one).
Check the home page on the website for class times. E mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries. Like and follow the Boyne Hockey Facebook page to get up-to-date information and notifications.
